No updates the last week because I’ve been too busy. Good busy though, lots of art done, and taking care of business at the p/t slobjob too. It’s hard out here for a drawer!

Nothing I can really talk about or show off right now, I guess I can show this though.

Rough sketch of a pretty famous robit for a little quickie side-project I am doing. Nothing I really couldn’t talk about if I wanted to, but I don’t, because I’m not even sure if I want to do it yet. Also, I’m not very good at drawing robits, whatsup with that?

More posting on Friday - hopefully with something more interesting to talk about too.

Quick update:

Haven’t gotten a ton of artwork done the last 2 work days. Got about half a page on friday tucked away. Had planned to catch up over the weekend, but that never happened. Today got off to a slow start, as I had some banking errands to do, and got held up by Bank of America’s utter shitness. Didn’t get back home until around 11, and tore in writing my half of Late Night Thing, but that still takes a few hours. Coupled with some needed house work, meant I barely got any drawings done today.

Tomorrow is slobjob day, so that’s that.

Wednesday is me vs the dentists, so I may not get much done that day either, we shall see.

Drives me effing nuts, as soon as I start getting too many good progress days in a row, something comes along and makes it impossible to keep up the momentum.

I did get up a few new galleries of custom toys though - link to that section is on the LEFT! Still have like 3 recently finished toys I need to get pics of, stuff I finished last year in Pittsburgh even. Never enough time…

Friday, I will art my ass off.

With the WFMU Marathon coming up, I’ve decided it’s time to do the hard recruit, and get people on board with this.

I’m tired of living relatively alone in my love for what is easily one of the greatest things going right now. All day long I see people posting garbage on their blogs, facebooks, mespaces, and none of it ever changes my life. THIS POST COULD CHANGE YOUR LIFE.

Quickly.

Didn’t update here Monday but I got a lot of work done and was too lazy to post anything about it afterwards. LNT went off without a hitch too, as usual.

Today was shit. Woke up at 5:30 with my back spasming, and never recovered. Wrist was sore, coupled with some depressing notions regarding trying to find a way to make fucking any money right now, and yeah, total wash. I tried to sketch some stuff to get my juices flowing, but it wasn’t happening. I’m a horrible fucking penciller, it’s no wonder I can’t get any work - I’m the only person that can ink me and I’m a slow inker.

At least I get to work the slobjob tomorrow. Ugh.

Completely unproductive day of comic working today as I could never get the juices going, so not much to see here.

Had some house stuff I needed to take care of, adjusting the rods of our drapes in the living room, spackling and painting over the old screw holes. Couple other chores around the house like that, yay.

Took care of some administrative stuff with Descent, and organized the files for the letterer.

Found out I bounced a check to a friend yesterday, only like the second time I’ve ever done that in my life (bounced a check, not bounced a check to a friend!). Between that, needing more ram, and accidentally paying next months credit card bill today instead of in like 3 weeks, it has been an expensive and stupid week.

I did score a 25th Anniversary Optimus Prime for 17 bucks today though. Silver lining?

Next week will rock.
