UPDATE KING IS ME!

Been awhile since I updated, fine. I know. I GET IT. In fairness, it’s mostly been because I’ve been too busy, not because of the usual reason (lazy). So there.

• Descent is insanely close to being done, but I’m sooooo sick of it, I’m having trouble sealing the deal. I could have finished a page today, but just didn’t wanna. WAAA. Dunno what my problem is, although I did leave the hardest parts of the book to draw for the last, and now I’m having to deal with that. Lots of stuff out of my wheelhouse, buildings and cars and stuff I don’t draw very much so I wanna get it right. Oh yeah, and dildo’s and buttplugs too (the heck kinda book is this anyways?!?!)

• Still banging away work on the webcomic thing that me and my Late Night Thing partner are staging. It should be fun if I don’t fuck it up. Still lots of planning work involved, seriously might be another year before we start putting pages out for people. They’ll be worth the wait though, I promise.

Here’s today’s design sketches on one of the main characters, I think I finally got it just about right. Now to decide on the colorways.

Saw Watchmen the other day. Meh. I liked it enough as a movie, but I just couldn’t help but get the feeling I was watching some jocky fratboy’s explanation of what he got from reading the Watchmen comic, you know? There were parts of it that were eerily accurate to the book, then other parts that were just weird and creepy and effed up, and different for no reason at all.

Oh well.

Glad that it’s out and all the nerd hypemachine for it can go die in an alley somewhere. Hopefully we see an Andy Samberg Rorschach sketch on SNL this weekend though, yeah?
