Right to it!

• Today was a really productive day, after a not so productive weekend. Worked on some articles for Murdershow, which is my usual Monday task, but then got done early and got some inking done for Descent - which is something I rarely do on Mondays, so that was nice. AND THEN I even managed to sneak in like a half hour of toy painting on something that’s been sitting on my desk unfinished for awhile, and got a really big chunk out of that too. Took a break for a mile and a half run, came back and made some dinner, and then back to inking for awhile longer tonight, to hopefully come really close to finishing the page I’m working on. Yay!

That’s about it for work stuff. Jenny is out of town, left Friday and won’t be back until next Monday. I got pretty intoxicated on Friday night, woke up with weird tastes in my mouth, and a headache that a 25 year old me would have never had. Spent Saturday watching some tv, reading some good comics, and then watching some bad movies. Sunday did a little cleaning, all the while recuperating from my drunken bombardment.

I figured I spend a good chunk of this alone time drinking and trying to cope with my boredom and loneliness, but I think I’m gonna be ok. It feels good to get to work whenever I want, instead of having to clock out at night to “spend time with the family”. Also, I’ve got a jogging goal for the week, and some new shoes to do it with, so that’ll keep me busy too.

Worse comes to worse, I might even actually go see Iron Man this week too, BY MYSELF! (I hate going to the movies by myself).

So don’t cry for me, Argentina. Just be happy, and go check out some of the many toy reviews we’ve got up over at Murdershow lately. The Movie Masters Joker review is especially popular, more so than I even thought it’d be. Toys, they’re neat.
