Well here we go again!

• After last Friday’s post about the 13 point to do list, I managed to get quite a lot of pencilling done, in regards to extra stuff and backgrounds, etc. In fact, I worked all day at it, a good 8-9 hours, and still wasn’t done. Monday never ends up being a good day for working on art for me, what with having to get Late Night Thing up at Murdershow, and the fact that I take to Mondays the same way Garfield does. Badly. So today is going to be more pencilling, and maybe even actually banging out the first point on my to-do list too, since it’s not even that much stuff to do. It read, and I quote - “ink buildings on pg20 p1 and add elevator bg p3″. Easy, right?

Yesterday I also had a dentists appointment, which was bizarre. Novacaine and me do not mix, at all. I even swallowed some of the numbing agent before I got my shot and couldn’t feel my throat, or swallow, for like 5 minutes. I was freaking out a bit, and hated it. Luckily though my dentist is fast, and proficient as heck, even if a little goofy and socially awkward. I was scheduled for 80 minutes, but he was done in 40, and that’s counting the sitting and waiting time too, nice. Teeth feel good, got a couple cavities taken care of that had bothered me for awhile, and even though my new insurance didn’t cover much of this work, they covered pretty much everything else up to this point, including all the x-rays and cleanings etc, so that’s probably worth it I guess. Still, 500 bucks for like 30 minutes of work is something, I don’t know what, but something. Someone needs to get in the hood and tell all the husslers about this scam, you’d see the crack problems dry right up with the quickness if people knew you could charge someone that much to drill a hole in their head and toss some spackle in real quick, yeah?

Ok, probably not. But still.

Didn’t see Iron Man, almost went Saturday night, but we were bushed and didn’t feel like catching the 10-whatever PM showing. I was ready to go out the door too, but it just didn’t happen. And i know it’s going to be one of those Tom Scharpling things too, where that was it. I know I’m probably not going to see this now till DVD (or a good bootleg shows up online). I worked up the only gusto I had to actually see this movie, and couldn’t even get out the door. Oh well, I can wait 3 more months to see it, really, I’m not nearly as impatient as most of my friends. At least about movies and television. I can barely wait when it comes to new toys though.
