Once a week seems about right, yeah?

• Spent this week doing various things, painting, cleaning the house, and very little drawing. Felt really burnt out at the end of last week, so I decided I needed to take some time away from the book and get my head straight. I did finish a page the other day, but it was a pretty easy one. Yesterday I got back on the horse though, and went through and made a 13 point TO DO list for me to stay focused on, which when completed should pretty much mean the end of the book. 13 points, wow. Sure, there’s a bit to do in each of those 13 points, it’s just 13 things that need to be done individually, but still. 13 points away from being done. It’s shocking.

So today will be spent shoring up some more pencils on some of the last of that stuff, I assume that’s only going to take me a few 4-5 hours to do, then if i have time tonight I’ll start inking stuff. Or at least, start checking things off my list.

WHEW.

That’s about it for comic stuff. Otherwise, it’s been quiet. Having a hard time finding the energy to go running at nights, like I had planned. I NEED to knock off about 15 lbs NOW, but I just can’t quit eating garbage or find the time to exercise to do it. GAH.

Put up a new finished toy gallery, this time Blackout from the Transformers movie. A straight repaint that took longer than it should have because I did it in about 10 minute increments over the course of whatever, 3 months. Really only a few hours worth of work, between paint curing time and other things I waited on. I kinda like how he turned out, but oddly, the actual toy I’m not that fond of. He’s really small, and looks strange - but in pictures he looks totally bad-ass and huge, strange.

Monday I have a dentists appointment, which I had been wanting for maybe a year now, but going to take care of a few cavities in the old smile, which unfortunately only 1 of which my insurance will cover. Total bs. So I’m going to be out 500-something bones next week, meanwhile Hillary and Obama both will still be grating all of our nerves. Yay.

And that’s about it, should have some more toy and comic reviews up at Murdershow next week, a new LNT, have tons of new art done, and will have probably seen Iron Man too. Maybe. Probably? No, definitely maybe.
