Hey, time for my monthly update!

• Despite the fact I’ve not said so, things are still going on artwise. Been inking every day, running down the last of the things that need to be done. I’ve not been killing myself too much, I think maybe subconsciously gearing up for the big push I know I need to do in the next few weeks to spit out a bunch of pages that are all at around the 80% or so finished mark. Most of the character work is inked, now I gotta go in and do the backgrounds - which is a horrible thing about black and white comics, you can’t cheat by just having a color wash. Well, cheat as much. Nope, I really gotta draw in chairs and walls and doors and all that crap, so boring. BLAH!

• The weather has finally turned, so I’ve gotten a little bit of painting done this week at night. Primer coats and touching up with the spray-cans etc. Want to knock out a few new customs by the end of the month, customs which had been sitting NEARLY finished for awhile but because of the weather (and laziness, ahem) I let sit by the wayside for a bit. Really looking forward to getting those done, and working on something more original than just a repaint - I’ve got a few ideas, but who knows what will come out. Yay.

That’s about it. Going through a little lease renewal drama with my landlord or her agents, or something. I’ve whined about it in a friends only blog over on my Myspace, so if you really wanna hear it, head over there. AND BECOME MY FRIEND!

Other than that, it’s back to the drawing board today, I think I might finish a page in a few hours, can you believe it?!
