Been a bit since an update, so I’ll knock one out real quick to stay CURRENT!

• Been inking, and that’s about it. I lost two days last week from my cold, but made up for it by working a bit over last weekend. The work goes fast, and then slow, and then fast, it depends on the level of detail on a page really. Some days it bugs my hands really bad, and then others I can put in 8 hours and not even feel it. Boring really, and nothing to much show off right now either. I’m working on the last 7 or 8 pages on the book, inking a panel here and a spot there, so it’s all scattered and no telling when it’ll be done for sure. Next week or so hopefully. Still have a little bit left to go in the book, but the end of the tunnel is so close it mocks me. Choo choo. Of course then I have more stuff to work on with it, so blah. But still, choo choo before blah, yay?

• Gonna take a day off next week, maybe 2, and work on some website stuff I’ve slacked on. This month really flew by, but I need to work on 2 sites for 2 different people, so I’m gonna eat a drawing day to do it. Lord knows I can’t be bothered to work on the weekends! I hate messing with websites nowadays though - for those that don’t know, I actually made my living for a year or 2 back in the day doing it, and design, and I really kind of hate it now. I get “code eyes” when I work in html/php too long too, where words stop having meaning and I can only read things if they make some kind of mathematical sense. KOOKY.

• As well as taking a day off for websites, I’m gonna take some time and bang out a bunch of the half-finished/needs editing stuff over at Murdershow. Because of the goofy layout I chose for the front page, the place looks a lot more dead than it really is. But a new Late Night Thing every week, a few “not worth their own post” posts every day, and a few new toy reviews up, and the place is actually pretty busy. Adding in the 5 or 6 articles we have lined up and nailing down a few interviews (read: I stop being lazy and actually write up the questions for all the people who have already agreed to be interviewed) and it’ll actually look pretty good there. I hope.

So that’s about it.

For those wondering how that monster bruise on my thigh is progressing, it’s almost gone. Or at least on its way out. I wonder if I shoulda named my leg Willis?

The one on the left is from about a week ago, and the one on the right is from a day or so back. The discoloration covers a bit of real estate, at least as wide as my fist WHICH IS MASSIVE! ahem. But yeah, doesn’t hurt anymore, and just looks goofy when I’m naked. No obvious jokes there, please.

And in other news, trying to hit up the Pittsburgh Toy Con tomorrow, but who knows how that’ll play out. There are some weird pseudo-celebs there, I might actually try and get a pic with Janet from Three’s Company if I see her. Why not, right?
